WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT Becoming a Provider at The Electrolysis Collective
-
Serve as an incubator for independent electrologists, through resource sharing and professional development needed to grow a sustainable practice - while making permanent hair removal more accessible to the consumer in a centralized location.
-
Many electrologists choose this field for the freedom it offers, but high startup costs and limited business experience can make it difficult to launch a practice. Our model lets you start your business now with minimal upfront investment.
At The Electrolysis Collective, you’re a self-employed business owner, not an employee. You operate under your own name, grow your client base, and use our fully supported infrastructure - including insurance credentialing and practice management software.
Bring your skill and work ethic - we’ll support the rest.

The numbers can get complicated (especially when insurance is involved), but we make it simple.
TEC covers the majority of expenses, with a few exceptions: providers are responsible for Stripe transaction fees and a portion of health insurance claims processing fees.
💸 How Your Money Flows: What To Expect
Provider Earnings
Average $75 per treatment hour (face & body) after revenue split & fees.
Revenue Split (Automatic):
64% to you
36% to TEC
Weekly Deposits:
Your share of revenue is sent automatically to your bank account every week
Expenses
Stripe automatically deducts their transaction fees
Each month, you pay two bills:
TEC Time Block fees ($15 per)
50% of ongoing insurance claims, co-pay, and co-insurance processing fees (varies according to volume)
Why We Charge Time Block Fees
Time Block fees create mutual investment. TEC invests heavily upfront in each provider, and a small Time Block fee reflects the provider’s commitment while ensuring treatment rooms are reserved only when they’ll be used.
If you have questions about the numbers, we’re happy to provide more details. Because insurance rates and claims processing scenarios can vary widely, it’s too complex to fully summarize here.
